Restrictions: An applicant must be a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, and should not be a private foundation as defined in section 509(a) of the irs code. The dudley foundation does not make grants to individuals or private businesses. The dudley foundation funds nonprofits in wausau, marathon county, and wisconsin. We do not fund any request outside of the state of wisconsin as per the intention of our founder, dick dudley, a proud native son of the state.
