Applying is a two-step process - a letter of inquiry or phone call and sending the foundation a full proposal. Include with letter of inquiry a description of the project, or call the foundation to discuss the project idea. Include with the proposal a cover letter that specifies the amount of funding sought, summary of the proposal idea, products and timeframe.
